How Much to Charge for a Sponsored TikTok Video, Line by Line
Charge for a sponsored TikTok line by line: a creation fee from your median views, then Spark Ads, paid usage, exclusivity, extras and payment terms.

To price a sponsored TikTok, multiply your median views by a CPM range, check the total against what the video costs you to make, and quote the higher number as your creation fee. Then price each extra on its own line: a Spark Ads code, paid usage, exclusivity, extra hooks, raw footage and rush timing, plus your payment terms.
Brands often open with 1 number for everything. Splitting it into lines shows what each right costs, and it gives both sides something to trade besides your rate.
What does a sponsored TikTok cost?
Published CPM guides put a dedicated TikTok video at $25 to $60 per 1,000 views, while marketplace data puts the average TikTok deal under $250. Both help, as long as you know what each one measures.
| Source | What it measures | Published figure |
|---|---|---|
| Karat, undated (checked November 2026) | CPM for a TikTok integrated mention | $15 to $40 |
| Karat | CPM for a dedicated TikTok video | $25 to $60 |
| Collabstr, 2026 report | Average TikTok package price on its marketplace in 2025 | $182 |
| Collabstr, 2026 report | Average paid per TikTok engagement in 2025 | $186 |
| Collabstr, 2025 report | Average TikTok video price across 2024 collaborations | $217 |
| Statusphere, undated (checked November 2026) | Average its creators charge per Spark Ads code | $100 |
Collabstr's figures come from its own marketplace, where nearly 80% of 2025 collaborations cost under $300 and TikTok's share of campaigns fell from 41% to 21%. The data leans toward small accounts and small budgets, so read it as a floor.
Engagement moves you within a CPM range. Karat calls 2% to 3% engagement average and 5% or more strong, and Collabstr's 2026 report put TikTok videos at 2% on its platform, the lowest of the 5 formats it listed, so compare yourself with other TikTok accounts.
How do you build a TikTok quote, line by line?
List the video first, then every right and extra the brand wants, each with its own price. This table works as a quote sheet for most TikTok deals.
| Line | What the brand gets | How to price it |
|---|---|---|
| Creation fee | 1 video on your account, with the agreed revision rounds | Median views times a CPM range, checked against your cost floor |
| Spark Ads code | Your post running as an ad under your handle | By window: 7, 30, 60 or 365 days |
| Paid usage | Your video in ads from the brand's own account | A share of the creation fee for each month |
| Exclusivity | You stay away from competitors for a set time | A share of the creation fee for each month, scaled by scope |
| Extra hooks or cut-downs | Alternate openings or lengths the brand can test | A set fee per version |
| Raw footage | Your unedited clips | A set fee, or a share of the creation fee |
| Rush delivery | Posting faster than your normal turnaround | A percentage on top |
| Payment terms | Deposit, payment date, kill fee and late fee | Written into the quote before you sign |
The creation fee
Pull the views on your last 10 to 15 posts, sort them and take the middle number. Karat says to use your last 10 to 15 pieces of content and leave your best performers out of the math.
Say your last 15 TikToks have a median of 25,000 views. Karat's dedicated-video range puts 1 video at $625 to $1,500, which is 25 times $25 at the low end and 25 times $60 at the top. An integrated mention inside a video you'd post anyway comes to $375 to $1,000 at $15 to $40.
Then list your costs: concept, script, filming, editing, revisions, props and any paid help. If the CPM math lands under that total, quote the cost floor.
Spark Ads and paid usage
A Spark Ads code lets the brand run your post as an ad from your account. TikTok's Ads Help Center (updated October 2025) says the creator selects an authorization of 7, 30, 60 or 365 days, so the window is what you're pricing.
Statusphere's $100 average per code is a flat number. A percentage scales with your fee: mysocial.io (updated February 2026) lists 30% to 50% of base for whitelisting, and our whitelisting and Spark Ads guide covers the other fee methods.
Paid usage means the brand runs your video from its own ad account. impact.com's usage guide (undated, checked November 2026) puts monthly usage at 25% to 75% of base for creators with 15,000 to 75,000 followers, so price it per month and give it an end date.
Exclusivity and extras
mysocial.io prices exclusivity at 20% to 50% of base for each month. Narrow it to named competitors when you can, since a whole-category lockout blocks more of your income.
Brands that test openings often ask for extra hooks. Price each alternate hook or cut-down as its own deliverable; Influee, a UGC marketplace, suggests $50 per hook in its rate guide (dated April 2025). Raw footage gets a separate price too.
Here's the arithmetic on a made-up deal for the 25,000-view creator above:
| Line | How it's calculated | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Creation fee | 25,000 views at Karat's $25 to $60 dedicated-video CPM, set at $1,000 after a cost check | $1,000 |
| Spark Ads code, 30 days | mysocial.io's 30% to 50% of base for whitelisting | $300 to $500 |
| Exclusivity, 30 days, named competitors | mysocial.io's 20% to 50% of base a month | $200 to $500 |
| 2 extra hooks | Influee's $50 per hook | $100 |
| Total | $1,600 to $2,100 |
What do TikTok's rules change about the price?
TikTok's disclosure and music rules decide what a sponsored post can include, so build them into the scope before you quote. Settling them in the brief saves you a reshoot later.
- TikTok says you must turn on the commercial content disclosure setting when you post content that promotes a brand, product or service (TikTok Ads Help Center, updated April 2026). Commercial content without proper disclosure may not be eligible for the For You feed.
- TikTok says the disclosure setting doesn't change how it recommends content, citing its own 2023 test of nearly 2 million videos in Indonesia and Pakistan.
- TikTok's Branded Content Policy says viewers must be able to tell what you're promoting without visiting your profile or a link, so name the product out loud or in the caption.
- Projects run through TikTok One switch the disclosure on automatically, and the policy says brands in some restricted industries may partner with creators only through TikTok One.
If a brand wants a specific trending song, ask who holds the license before you agree to use it. Our guide to TikTok's Commercial Music Library covers the terms.
Should you take a flat fee, a commission or both?
Keep a flat creation fee as your floor and treat any commission as upside on top. A commission-only deal puts all of the sales risk on you.
If the brand sells through TikTok Shop, it may offer an affiliate commission. TikTok's Seller Center help page (updated August 2025) says sellers can set an open collaboration commission between 1% and 80% of GMV, or gross merchandise value, for each order, and that a target collaboration rate replaces the open rate when a product sits in both.
Ask for the commission rate in writing, along with when commissions pay out. Price the video as if it sells nothing, and let the commission be the bonus.

Questions creators ask
How much should I charge for a TikTok with 10,000 followers?
Run your median views through a CPM range and compare the result with your cost floor. mysocial.io's floor of $100 per 10,000 followers puts 1 piece of content at $100 or more, and Collabstr's 2025 marketplace data put the average TikTok payout at $186.
How much should I charge for a Spark Ads code?
Price it as its own line, by window. Statusphere says its creators charge $100 per code on average, and a 365-day code should cost well above a 7-day one, since the brand can run your post for the whole window.
Can I use a trending song in a sponsored TikTok?
Check before you plan around it. TikTok's help page says businesses can't use the general music library for commercial use and points them to the Commercial Music Library for branded content, so agree the sound with the brand first.
Do I charge differently for a TikTok Shop video?
Keep a flat fee for the video and treat the commission as extra. Sellers can set open collaboration commissions between 1% and 80% of GMV per order, according to TikTok's help page, so get the rate in writing.
Should I post the sponsored video on Instagram too?
Post it there when the brand pays for the extra platform. mysocial.io prices an additional platform at 50% to 75% of base, and the extra post needs Instagram's paid partnership label.
