TikTok One is TikTok's in-app marketplace for brand deals. Brands search creators by audience and performance, then send invitations or post open projects, and TikTok handles payment for projects paid in the app. To join, you need to be 18 or older, in a region where TikTok One has launched, and in line with TikTok's Community Guidelines and Branded Content Policy.
The follower bar depends on which TikTok page you read, and we lay out both below. Everything here comes from TikTok's Help Center, Business Help Center, Creator Academy and program terms as we checked them in November 2026.
What is TikTok One?
TikTok One is the platform where creators, advertisers and brands collaborate on TikTok. TikTok's Help Center lists the Creator Marketplace as one of its tools, alongside Creative Center and Creative Exchange.
For creators, the Business Help Center describes a single place to find brand opportunities, track action items and collect payouts. Tapping Creator Marketplace in TikTok Studio takes you straight into TikTok One.
TikTok's Creator Academy (updated August 18, 2026) describes 2 kinds of deliverable:
- A sponsored post goes up on your own account, tagged "Sponsored."
- A branded post goes up on the brand's business account, which the brand can promote with Spark Ads, and it doesn't touch your personal account.
Either kind can be set to skip your profile grid while still showing in the For You feed. Branded and sponsored posts also have separate lists of supported regions, so check both before you apply to a project.
Who can join TikTok One?
Anyone 18 or older in a launched region can sign up, but TikTok's pages set different follower bars:
| TikTok page | Age | Followers | Other requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| Help Center (no date shown) | 18+, may differ by region | 10,000, may differ by region | 1,000 post views and 3 posts in the last 30 days, and an account in good standing |
| Business Help Center (updated July 2026) | 18+ | 1,000+ to take part in projects, plus each project's own requirements | TikTok One launched in your region, and compliance with the Community Guidelines and Branded Content Policy |
| Creator Academy (updated August 18, 2026) | 18+, or the age of majority where you live | 1,000 as the project baseline, plus whatever the brand adds | A supported region, with separate region lists for branded and sponsored posts |
The in-app check settles it for your account. Open your profile, go to TikTok Studio, tap Creator Marketplace in the Monetization tab and tap Check eligibility. You can also join through an agency's invitation link.
How do brands find and hire creators on TikTok One?
Brands find you through search filters and matching tools, then invite you to a project or approve your application. What they see depends on your profile and your recent content.
TikTok's brand-side guide (updated June 2026) lists the filters: your country or region, follower count, follower gender ratio and language; your audience's country, age range and gender; and your median video views and engagement rate. Your profile also shows trends in followers, views and engagement, your recent organic and sponsored videos, and a "collaboration evaluation score" based on recent content quality and reach.
You fill in the rest. The Creator Academy tells creators to add an email, languages and an expected rate, which are public to advertisers and partners such as agencies. List every language you speak, keep your bio specific to your niche and turn on inbox notifications, since invitations arrive there.
There are 3 ways into a project, each with its own pricing rules (TikTok, July 2026):
| Route | How it works | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Direct invitation | Arrives in your Monetization inbox; you tap "I'm interested," review the payment, then accept or negotiate | The only route that allows negotiation |
| Open application | You browse the Explore tab and apply; the brand or TikTok accepts you, or you join a waitlist if it's full | Set by the project |
| Invite link | A brand sends a link by inbox, the TikTok One homepage or email, and you have 7 days to join | Fixed price, paid offline after the brand confirms your video |
Open applications come with a weekly limit. TikTok says you can raise it by completing projects with well-performing videos.
How do you get paid on TikTok One?
Each project uses 1 of 3 payment models, shown in its details (TikTok, April 2026):
| Payment model | How it's calculated | Negotiable? |
|---|---|---|
| Base pay only | A flat fee based on the number and types of deliverables | Sometimes; the project details say which |
| Revenue share only | An amount set by the video's performance and the advertiser's ad spend, for in-feed ads only | TikTok doesn't say |
| Base pay plus revenue share | A flat fee plus a performance-based amount | No |
Under the TikTok One Creator Program Terms (updated April 2026), your right to base pay starts when your project content receives TikTok One approval, and your right to a revenue share starts when the content is published as an ad. Payouts land in the Rewards section of Creator Marketplace, and you can't receive them while your payment account is still being verified.
The same terms say payouts include all taxes and leave tax reporting to you. They also say no payment is due if you cancel a project, so only accept work you can deliver on time.
What rights do you give TikTok and the brand?
You give TikTok a 2-year, worldwide license to the content you submit, and TikTok can pass it on to the brand. The Creator Program Terms call it non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable, and they say project content may still be used under the project requirements after you stop taking part.
In a direct deal, we'd price 2 years of worldwide use as its own line. Treat a TikTok One fee as covering the video and that usage together, and compare it with what you'd quote the same brand outside the app. Our guide to pricing usage rights walks through that line.
Brands can also ask to sync your post to their Ads Manager account to run it as an ad. That's ad access to your content, so price it as a separate line with its own end date.
Should you join TikTok One?
If you qualify, we'd join and treat it as one source of deals among several. It puts you in front of brands that already budget for TikTok, and it handles payment, though it sets more of the terms than a direct deal does.
| Join and apply when | Hold back or negotiate when |
|---|---|
| You want brands to find you inside the app | A flat fee is marked non-negotiable and doesn't cover the 2-year license |
| Your bio, niche and recent posts make your audience clear | The brand also wants exclusivity or usage beyond the project |
| You can hit a brand's deadline and approval steps | You might need to cancel, since no payment is due for a canceled project |
| You're building a portfolio of sponsored posts | The invite comes from an unknown sender or a link outside tiktok.com |

Questions creators ask
How many followers do you need for TikTok One?
TikTok's pages differ. Its Help Center lists 10,000 followers, 1,000 post views and 3 posts in the last 30 days, while its Business Help Center and Creator Academy set 1,000 followers as the baseline for projects, plus whatever each brand adds. The Check eligibility button in TikTok Studio gives the answer for your account.
Is TikTok One the same as the TikTok Creator Marketplace?
The Creator Marketplace is part of TikTok One. In the app, tapping Creator Marketplace in TikTok Studio opens TikTok One, where your profile, projects and payouts live.
Can you negotiate your rate on TikTok One?
Only on direct invitations, where you can tap Negotiate after reviewing the payment. Invite links use fixed pricing, open applications follow the project's terms, and projects that combine base pay with revenue share are non-negotiable.
Do TikTok One posts still need a disclosure?
Yes. TikTok's Branded Content Policy (effective October 30, 2026) says you must turn on the commercial content disclosure toggle when posting branded content. The FTC also tells creators not to assume a platform's tool is enough by itself, so add plain words like "ad" in the caption.
Can you use any song in a TikTok One video?
Stick to Commercial Sounds, your own audio or music you've licensed. TikTok's Music Terms limit the general sound library to personal, non-commercial videos, and our guide to TikTok's Commercial Music Library explains what's cleared for paid posts.
